World Finance Edu helps finance professionals and finance teams get better at their craft. We deliver corporate finance training and seminars, and offer fractional CFO support to companies that need senior finance capability without a full-time hire.
Toyo brings 20+ years in financial and operational management, including as Global Head of FP&A at a US$125B real estate private equity firm.
He founded World Finance Edu in 2025 to share that experience with finance professionals and finance teams. Outside WFE, he is also active as an angel investor, VC Limited Partner, Venture Partner and financial advisor, separately from the WFE business.
He is Program Director and Founding Partner of the Mentogram School of Finance, a six-month postgraduate programme in global finance and AI, and he teaches corporate finance on the Mentogram MBA programme. Qualifications are awarded by Woolf, an accredited higher education institution in Malta. In November 2025 he served as a startup pitch judge at GRIC2025 in Tokyo, one of Japan's largest growth industry conferences, and at the ASEAN Technology Cooperation & Development Summit 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (Washington State), holds an INSEAD Global Executive MBA, and a certificate in business excellence from Columbia Business School's Private Equity & Venture Capital Program.
Programmes covering the full range of corporate finance topics: financial statement fundamentals, financial projections, investment metrics (IRR, WACC, NPV, payback period), capital budgeting, valuation, and fundraising. Each programme integrates practical AI tools so participants stay current with how modern finance teams actually work.
WFE serves individual learners through open enrolment programmes (B to C), and corporate finance teams through tailored in-house engagements (B to B).
Beyond direct corporate engagements, WFE delivers sessions through partner programmes across NUS, NTU and international MBA platforms — bringing corporate finance into founder education and academic curricula. Newest: two Japanese-language online programs, a corporate valuation course created jointly with Gyoseki, and a business-English pronunciation and impression course live on Udemy.
Toyo is Program Director and Founding Partner of the school, which runs a six-month postgraduate programme for finance professionals and founders. He also delivers corporate finance modules on the Mentogram MBA.
Lecture sessions for deep-tech founders within the national venture creation programme — financial projections, business modelling, and investor-readiness for PhD-stage and research-led teams.
Live simulation: students competed on land bidding using a real estate underwriting model, then revealed how a 12% target IRR turns into a negative outcome under realistic market assumptions — illustrating bidding discipline through experience, not theory.
WFE's flagship course for individual learners — combining live sessions and pre-recorded modules, designed for non-finance professionals and junior finance professionals. Organised and conducted by WFE.
Toyo combined deep global expertise with a style that spoke directly to experienced professionals. The mix of practical insights, structured frameworks, and real-world applications made the program engaging and impactful.
